The Insulin Chemiluminescence ELISA provides superior sensitivity, quantitatively detecting insulin as low as 20
pg/mL in human serum, plasma and β-islet tissue culture supernatants. The assay does not cross-react with
human intact proinsulin, or mouse or rat insulin, allowing the user to differentiate exogenous human insulin from
endogenous mouse or rat insulin.
