The TGF-β2 ELISA is an enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of TGF-β2 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant. Research Use Only. Not for Use in Diagnostic Procedures.
The TGF-β2 ELISA Kit is a solid phase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) based on the sandwichprinciple.Prior to testing the standards and samples are diluted in assay buffer, acidified with HCl, and then neutralizedwith NaOH.Afterward, the neutralized standards and samples are added to the antibody coated (polyclonal) microtiterwells. After the first incubation, the unbound sample material is removed by washing. Then a biotinilated mouseanti TGF-β2 antibody and the Streptavidin-HRP Enzyme complex are incubated in succession. An immunoenzyme sandwich complex is formed. After incubation, the unbound conjugate is washed off. Having added the substrate solution, the intensity ofcolor developed is proportional to the concentration of TGF-β2 in the sample.

Cases of food and environmental allergies have been increasing over the last decade. While conservative estimates suggest IgE-mediated allergy affects 6-8% of children and 2-3% of adults, some estimates are as high as 30%.3, 2 Symptoms can range from mild to severe and include itching, hives,...
Food sensitivity or food intolerance involves a non-allergic response to a food or food additive. In a recent on-line survey conducted in the U.S., 24% of adults aged 18 to 79 reported a food intolerance. While a food allergy is typically mediated by IgE antibodies, adverse reactions to food...
