Allergy involves an immune response to a substance that is not harmful. While this response is typically bothersome, it can be life-threatening. Traditional allergy testing often involves several rounds of testing with a limited number of allergens. Multiplex testing with a high percentage of molecular allergens provides more comprehensive information in a single test. This bottom-up approach can provide a faster path to diagnosis and treatment.
