We are seeking an experienced assay developer to work independently conducting experiments to demonstrate feasibility/robustness of high quality ELISA-based products. Responsibilities will cover research as well as commercialization/validation of these assays. May also be called upon to support customers in troubleshooting assays in the field and providing technical information regarding the use of all of ALPCO’s products. Position may require limited overnight travel.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be able to work independently while making contributions to the product development team. Candidate should have a BS/MS in immunology, biochemistry, or a related discipline with 4-10 years relevant experience in a commercial environment. Experience with assay development and validation/commercialization of robust immunoassays, and with ELISAs in particular, is required. Experience in biological sample handling including primary blood is also required. Knowledge of endocrinology is a plus. Desirable candidates also possess excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.

We are seeking our first Sales Manager to lead all of ALPCO’s sales activities resulting in achieving or surpassing our sales and profit goals. Will design and recommend sales programs and establish short- and long-term sales strategies based on market analysis and competitive research. Working with Marketing and senior management, will create the company’s global value proposition and then implement appropriate new sales programs. Will negotiate contracts and write Master Service Agreements for corporate accounts. Will utilize experience, expertise, and mentoring skills in motivating our team and develop and deliver training programs for product and account managers. Act as point person for high level and high priority customer service-related issues.
Qualifications: BS/MS/MBA and 7-10 years of sales experience with 3-5 years of sales management experience. Must have a proven track record of successful sales management and prior experience in developing sales strategies on a company/global level. Experience with products for research and/or clinical applications essential and IVD experience preferred. Strong leadership skills, great communications, high energy, and a passion for sales are essential.
